Each and every RhinoVault pocket door is bespoke… custom-made to match your architectural, aesthetic, and security requirements.
Our pocket door frames are constructed of heavy gauge steel and UL rated ballistic composite materials. (UL 752 Level 3-8). Ballistic rated pocket doors can be utilized to prevent forced entry into a designated of your home or business, and they can be the armored barrier to an entire RhinoVault safe room or safe living area.
Controls on the inside of your safe room lock out attempts by bad guys to use remotes to enter and RhinoVault shuts off all wireless signal to the door locking mechanism.

UL 752 RATINGS OF BULLET RESISTANT MATERIALS
The UL 752 Standard is used to determine the bullet resistance of building components including windows, walls, or barriers made out of bullet resistant materials.

The purpose of NIJ Standard 0108.01 is to establish minimum performance requirements and methods of test for ballistic resistant protective materials.

Protection That Pleases the Eye…
RhinoVault doors are foremost fabricated to keep you, your family, and your possessions safe. We also assure that our doors match the aesthetics of your home or business. Pocket doors can be used in three different configurations:
- A hidden door that would be utilized during a safety event. In this case, the door itself would be masterfully powder coated, and the exposed edge would be made to match the surrounding casement, as seen in the images to the left.
- If the pocket door is the primary door for everyday access to a room or area, the door would then be finished to the desired look, as in the bedroom image in the middle.
- Pocket door can be used in conjunction with a swinging door. The swinging door could be an existing hollow or solid core panel door, with the armored pocket door being activated during a safety event.
Swing with Protection That Pleases the Eye…
There are situations where an armored pocket door will not work architecturally, or a swinging door is preferred. There is increased interest in ballistic swinging doors – often UL Level 3. The armored swinging door is finished to the desired architectural look, nearly indistinguishable from other interior doors.
Each door is constructed of heavy gauge steel and other UL rated ballistic (bullet resistant) composite materials. (UL 752 Level 3-8).
Doors swing on three heavy duty ball bearing hinges, and can have up to 18 heavy steel bolts, both horizontal and vertically placed.

For those whose situation demands even more security, we can combine a RhinoVault armored swinging door with a RhinoVault pocket door – often UL Level 8 – the latter triggered by a safety event.
Vault Doors for Home & Business…
Some may prefer a more traditional “vault-look” security door protecting their sanctuary or property safe areas.
You worked hard for your possessions, and you need an impenetrable place to keep them safe. The solution is RhinoVault vault doors and vaults. Whether protecting valuables such as jewelry, documents, antiques, and other precious items, or a gun room, RhinoVault keeps them safe from hostile entry, burglars, fire, and storms.
RhinoVault vault rooms can be created in new construction, or in existing rooms. RhinoVaults are custom fabricated and range from closet size, to large enough to serve as a family room or media room. And yes, should you wish, they come in pink or any color you desire.
RhinoVault doors are automated with battery backup, electronic eyes, keyless remotes and other biometric and mechanical options. Doors are made of custom UL 752 levels 5-8 ballistic. Steel outer skin (powder coated) laminated to UL 752 level 8 with either MIL-A-46100 or MIL-A 12560 military spec Armor Plate or ArmorCore Fiberglass Ballistic Panels.
RhinoVault’sR steel panels can be covered with fire rated sheetrock or ceramic fiber, giving you a minimum 2 hr. fire rating. Extra fire-resistant type panels may be added for additional protection.
Lab Tested 21st Century Technology…
Multiple high-security access and locking systems are available: Locking systems are integrated in the structure of each door and casing. Our locks utilize advanced technology and are highly reliable both mechanically and electronically. Keypad, Proximity, Biometric, Remote Access via Fob or Cellular App, and others are available for fast closure and opening.
Locking mechanisms can be electromagnetic (with battery backup), motorized, or mechanical.
Heavy duty door frames are powder coated for long life.
High quality security doors are heavy – and can weigh 1,200lbs. A minimum of 8 neoprene rubber rollers with sealed bearings are utilized per door (the number depending on size and weight). This enables exceedingly smooth openings and closures, and amazingly quiet and long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
RhinoVault pocket, swing, and vault doors are fabricated of heavy gauge steel and other UL Rated ballistic (bullet resistant) materials. Each frame is custom built to exactly fit your specific opening requirements.
